Mokrovac, Stevan (Negotin, Serbia, 9 and 1856 – Skopje, 29. ⅸ 1914) – Composer and choral conductor. Music teaches in Munich, Rome and Leipzig. Coming to the head of the Belgrade singer society, develops a very fruitful and diverse activity. Under his leadership, the Society reaches a high school level of numerous concerts in Serbia and tour abroad. Central place in the work of M. Take its 15 “RUCOVITS” – a kind of choral stylistic stylistic, based on deliciously placed contrasts of individual songs in the works. The tenth “Rccott” – one of the most beautiful, as the fifteenth, are formed with songs from Macedonia. Mosquiations spiritual choral works are also important, from which the monumental “Liturgy according to St.. Yo-Van Chrysostust. ” On the basis of his records of ecclesiastic purposes, published in two collections (“Ovlersknik” and “Socious Granting”), ecclesiastical singing in the Serbian Orthodox Church is established.
