Apostolski, Mihailo Mitev (Novo Selo, Shtip, 8. Xi 1906 – Dojran, 7. ⅷ 1987) – Lieutenant General, Commander of GS of New and Pom, People’s Hero, Academician. From 1978 to 1981 he was chairman of the Council of the Academies of Sciences and the Arts of SFRY. Since 1979 is a member of Jesu. In 1986 It becomes chairman of the covenant of the companies of the historians of Macedonia. He is also a member of the Kosovo Academy, as well as scientific societies in Bitola and Stip and the Scientific Society for History of Health Culture in Belgrade.
