Kalesh, Ahmed Hassan (Ahmed Hassan Kaleshi) (village Srbica, Kichevo, 7. ⅲ 1922 – Belgrade, 1976) – Univ. Professor, Orientalist and translator. Primary education ended in birthplace, and high school in Pristina. During the Second World War he worked as an interpreter. In 1946 He enrolled at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, the Orientalistics and Roma-Ahmed Hassan Calesh Nastic. From 1947 to 1950 He worked as an interpreter and a lecturer in the Albanian language editorial office in Radio Belgrade, and then as a high school professor and as an assistant at the Department of Oriental Philology in Belgrade (1955). He received his Philosopher’s accumulation Kalimanci Skim Faculty in Belgrade on the topic “The oldest vacuum documents of Macedonia of Araboma Jezic”. In 1965 He stayed at the University of Hamburg, where he specialized in Turkology among the famous professor Annemiera Opera Gababein. In 1967 Three months he stayed as a guest in scientific institutions in Cairo, where he prepared the Great Srpsko-Mrsko-Arab Dictionary. He was elected a senior expert associate at the Albanian Institute in Pristina (1967), and then for a full professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Pristina (1970). In the academic 1973/74 At his initiative for the first time, the Department of Orientalistics at the Pristina University is opened. He was a contributor and honorary member of several world scientific institutions and academies (Cairo, Sofia, Gothingen, Hamburg, etc.). He published more than 400 bibliographic units.
