Days of Macedonian music. – Festival that presents the work of the Macedonian composers of classical music. It organizes the covenant of composers of Macedonia (SOKOM). For the first time held in 1988 With its stimulating policy played a significant role in encouraging and affirming the Macedonian music work. Over 300 works have experienced its premiere of DMM. Is maintained in late March each year. Since 1997 It receives an international character, which in recent years is intensified by participation of foreign contractors and performing foreign works. The DMM traditionally returns the annual awards of SOKOM (“Trajko Prokopiev” – for life work, “Pance Peshev” – for the most successful annual creative accomplishment and “Georgi Bozhikov” – for the best performance of a work from a Macedonian composer).
