Gulapchev, Spiro Konstantinov (Lerin, 12. 1856 – Sofia, 1918) – National and educated Denech, “Puppy”, publicist and publisher, Macedonian separatist and federalist. His father was a priest and a participant in the fighting for an independent Macedonian church. He was first educated in Constantinople, Orren and Plovdiv as an exarchical scholar, and then learned in the spiritual academy (1877-1879) and studied at the Faculty of Law in Moscow (1879-1881) and the Historical and Philology Faculty in Kiev (1881- 1886). In Kiev was the initiator for the formation of a friendly company for the promotion of the Bulgarian literary in Macedonia (1883). Due to ties with secret folk groups in Ukraine, he was externalized by Russia, after which he was a teacher in Lerin, where Spiro Gulapchev Ril and Bookstore, and then he was a professor at Gymnasium in Gabrovo (1887/1888), Varna (March – September 1888) and Tarnovo (1888/1889). He dealt with publicity and publishing activity. In his newly opened printing house in Ruse (1890) he issued books with anarchist content. He was charged with Macedonian national separatism. Due to disagreements with the views of D. Blagoev and N. Gabrovski, destroyed the printed circulation of the socially literary volume “New Time” (1891). In his printing house, Kosta Shakov was printing in. “MACEDONIA” (Ruse, 20 and 8. ⅵ 1902), from which 4 numbers were published. He advocated peace and federal arrangement in the Balkans, with Macedonia as a separate state unit and for the application of the phonetic principle in a Macedonian language.
