Gelevski, Zivko

Gelevski, Zivko (Kumanovo, 18. ⅶ 1931 – Skopje, 5. ⅴ 1997) – Architect. He graduated from the architectural department at the Faculty of Technical Faculty in Skopje (1958). After graduation he was employed in the Parliament of the city of Kumanovo – a department for communal affairs and urbanism. He worked in the design organization “Macedonia Project” as a designer (1964), and then in the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments of the City of Skopje as Director (1988). It projected various objects and participated in several anonymous architectural competitions. Significant realized facilities: Gymnasium “Josip Broz Tito” in Skopje (1966, with V. Ladina – S. Djuric); Basketball Hall “Rabotnicki” in Skopje (1970, with T. Dimitrov); Hotel “Continental” in Skopje (1972, with D. Dimitrov and S. Djuric); City Shopping Center in Skopje (1972, with a team); Business facility “Light” in Kumanovo (1975); Hotel “Ovce Pole” in St. Nikole (1977, with D. Dimitrov); Tobacco Combine – Kumanovo (1978); Universal sports hall in Kumanovo (1979, with T. Dimitrov). Cr. T.
