Gaber, Stevan

Gaber, Stevan (Veles, 22. IX 1919 – Skopje, 5. ⅷ 1999) – University professor, lawyer. Primary education and high school finished in the birthplace, and the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and Sofia (1943). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, on the topic “Immediate Democracy” (1956). He was Dean of the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1965-1967), Rector of the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje (1972 / 73-1973/74), director of the Institute for Sociological and Political and Legal Research in Skopje (1975) and Rector of the University” St. Naum Ohridski “in Bitola (1978-1979). Belonged to the communist student movement. In the Partisan movement, he entered from ⅷ 1944, when he was admitted to a member of the CPY. He was the police of the company in the Veles Eighth Brigade (1944). After the liberation of the country, he was a proxy of referral, a district prosecutor and the prosecutor of the City of Skopje. He was a member of the Home Commission for establishing the Faculty of Law in Skopje (1951). He wrote more than 160 papers in the field of legal and political science.
