Zajas – village in Kichevo. It is located in the eastern foot of Mount Bistra, on the right side of the timeless river, at an altitude of about 800 m. Through the village passes the main road M-4, which connects it to Kicevo. It is populated with Albanians, and their number is 4,712 h. Much of the population is on temporary work abroad. Zajas is the seat of a municipality that covers an area of 16,108 ha, there are 13 settlements with 11,605 h. In the village there is an eight-year school and a health station. Al. ST.
