Volkanov, Mihajlo

Volkanov, Mihajlo (Prizren, 16. 1941) – Architect. He graduated from the architectural-civil society in Skopje (1967). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical Uni-Mihajlo Volkanov version in Dresden, Germany (1979). Regular professor is at the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje – Designing of social buildings. His creativity covers a wide range of architectural design, especially sports facilities. In addition to teaching and scientific and research activity, it also deals with publicistics. Significant realized facilities: home of retirees in Skopje (1980, with S. Brezoski and M. Guleski); The prison swimming pool “Chair” in Skopje (1981); The sports hall “Jane Sandanski” in Skopje (1982); The sports hall “Nursery” in Skopje (1983), as well as several residential buildings in Skopje.
