Vlach organization

Vlach Organization (1909-1910) – Organization of the Vlachs in Macedonia. Vlachs, recognized for special “Romanian nationality” (V 1905), after the victory of the Young Turk Revolution, and after the establishment of constitutional arrangement (1908), they suffered the right to political organization. One year afterwards formed their first club in Bitola. They held a gathering of representatives of the municipalities (23/24. Ⅶ 1909) and was the founded Vlach organization that wanted to receive from the Romanian community of its bishops. A second gathering (1910) dedicated to organizational issues, schools and church issues were held. A “Decree on Ottoman-Vlach schools” was adopted with the teaching of Roman-ski language.
