Uzunov, Hristo

Uzunov, Hristo (Ohrid, 22. ⅹ 1878 – p. Cere, Demir Hisar, 24. ⅳ 1905) – Teacher, Duke and Reonity Chief of TMORO in the Ohrid Revolutionary District. He was educated in Thessaloniki and participated in Thessaloniki school rebellions (1896). He was lying in the Bitola Central prison “Katilane” (1898 and 1902-1903). Since 1903 He was appointed for the chief duke of Ohrid Revolutionary Treaty. He participated in the Smilevo Congress. The Ilinden Uprising was a member of the Gordan Department (Headquarters) for the Ohrid Revolutionary Region. He participated in the rescue of the Jasha’s brother. 200 families. The Prilep Congress (1904) was elected secretary and a district auditor of the MoR of the MoR for Ohrid, Struga and Kichevo. He died with the team surrounded by a Turkish army. Exhibit. and Litt.: A.
