University St. Kliment Ohridski

University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (Bitola, 25. 1979) – Second Macedonian University, after the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje, founded as a Bitola University. The establishment included eight higher education and scientific institutions from the area of ​​the Southwestern part of the SRM: Legal and Technical Faculty, the Higher Agricultural School and the Pedagogical Academy in Bitola, Faculty of Economics and the Tobacco Institute in Prilep, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality and the Hydrobiological Institute in Ohrid. Later, the Institute of Old Slavic Culture was joined in Prilep (1985) and the Higher Medical School (1988). After renaming at University “St. Kliment Ohridski “(1993), acquired with other members: the Faculty of Teachers and Educators (1995) and the biotechnical faculty (since 1999).
