Ulchar, Joze Johev

Ulchar, Joze Johev (Recica, Bledsko, Slovenia, 4. ⅳ 1915 – Skopje, 16. And 1967) – mathematician, order. Prof. to the PMF (1964). Graduated (1938) Mathematics at the Faculty of Philosophy in Ljubljana. In the establishment of the Faculty of Philosophy in 1946. Among the first was elected a university lecturer. He held teaching at the faculty after all courses in the field of geometry and almost all of his scientific papers are from that area. He is the author of one of Jože Ulchar first textbooks at the University of Mathematics studies (“Analytical Geometry with Vector Algebra”, Skopje, 1958) and several others. He was a pro-rector, held teaching at other faculties, and had significant activities and managerial functions in the company of mathematicians and the Republic Institute for School.
