Tyrannical imprisonment

Tyrannical prison (1941-1944) – one of the biggest prisons in Albania intended for political prisoners and Macedonians. In the old and new prison building, members of the armed uprising from the western part of Macedonia and other places were under Italian, and later under German occupation. It turned more fighters from Macedonia: Ilija Antevski-Smok, Hristo Zurklievski, Drago Todorovski, Rade Ugrinovski, Trifco Angelovski, Dusko Popovic, etc. Those who were released from the prison after the capitulation of Italy (September 1943), joined the National NOB of Macedonia.
