Thomas Slav

Thomas Slav (? – 823) – served in the Vizantine Army. At the time of Leo ⅴ raised a village anti-monoconite uprising. He was declared king of the Antiochian Patriarch with the support of the Calif Mamun, after which he went to Thrace and besieged Constantinople (ⅹⅰⅰ 821 – spring at 823).
