The Battle of Konilicephali

The Battle of Konilicephali (197 of Pharma) – the last battle in the Second Makedonian War (200-197) between the Macedonian state during King Philippi Roman armies. Despite the initial successes, the Macedonian phalanx is cracked by the Joint Military Forces of the Romans, Iliri, Dardendians and Hellenic Policy; 8,000 soldiers die, and 5,000 are captured. Philip C, when withdrawal in Larissa, ignites the Royal Archive, before the city falls into the hands of the Romans. A four-month truce and Philipⅴso the army is concluded in Macedonia.
