Tachev, Ljubomir (Prilep, 9. 1945) – City. Ing., order. Prof. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Skopje (from 1992) after cases of dams and hydrotechnical objects. He graduated from postgraduate studies in Delft, the Netherlands (1978/1979), PhD in Skopje (1988). He participated in several hydroechnics projects. He published through thirty scientific papers and four books of which the most significant is “dams and accompanying hydrotechnical objects” (Gotce Delcev award, 2005), published in English (Thalror S. Frances, London, 2005). Bill Dean (1999-2003) and President of the Macedonian Committee for Great Dams (since 1994). It actively deals with chess (first Macedonian FIDE Master, 1983).
