Stojanov, Sophrony (village Cere, Demir Hisar, 8. 1871 – p. Gabrovo, Gornoduma, 15. 1903) – Verkhevist Duke, Lieutenant in the Bulgarian army. Graduated from Military School in Sofia (1892). He left the army (1900) to act in Macedonia. As a duke acted in Maleshevo, Gornoduma and Kicevo (1901). He died in a fight with the Ottoman army.
