Stojmilov, Alexander (village white, Kocani, 18. and 1941) – a geographer. He finished elementary education in his birthplace, and secondary in Kocani. Graduated geography (1963) at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, Master ‘s Degree (1967) at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Belgrade on the topic “Opportunities for the Development of Tourism of the Macedonian Lakes”, and Ph.D. (1974) at the Faculty of Natural Faculty in Skopje on the topic ” Tourist values of the Macedonian mountains “. The Institute for Geography at the PMF in Skopje was admitted to an assistant (1968), and then elected lecturer (1972), assistant (1975), associate (1980) and full professor (1985). He held teaching on the subjects of geography, special economic geography, the grounds of tourism, geography of Europe and geography of the Republic of Macedonia. He performed several functions: a deputy in the Assembly of the City of Skopje, Procedikan and Dean of the Geography Faculty, in two terms Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje, chairman of the Skopje Tourist Union, President of the Tourist Union of Macedonia, Secretary and President of the Macedonian Geographical Society, President of the Republic Pedagogical Council, President of Acud” Mirce Acev “etc. So far, it has published over 200 titles in the field of geography of Macedonia, tourism geography and tourism, economic geography, hydrology and spatial planning. He has published 10 textbooks for secondary, 4 for higher education and more thematic cards. He participated in the preparation of several projects, as a researcher and as a manager.
