Stefanov, Gligor (Kavadarci, 3. ⅶ 1956) – Sculptor, significant for innovation of the sculpture in the eighties and its promotion in other environments. He lives and creates in Canada. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade (1981). He exhibited the Biennial in Venice (1993). The sculpture interprets it in a flexible way, uses natural materials. Stefanov: “Brilling of space” (1985) (hay, straw, wood, cotton), and also creates installations (linear intervention, 1983; Cherubim and Seraphim, 1993). S. AB.-
