“St. Joachim Osogovski” – Monastery near Kriva Palanka, founded in ⅺ-ⅹⅰⅰ c. In the life of Joachim Osogovski writes that at the time of the rule of Emperor Manoel Comnen (1143-1180), a priest Theodore of Ovce Pole, after becoming a monk and received monastic name Theophan, founded the monastery and became his first abbot. Then he built a church and dedicated him to St. Joachim Osogovski. It was transmitted and the relics of the saint. The monastery is often mentioned in historical sources, mostly in the notes written by prominent visitors who have settled in the monastery for various reasons and with different purposes. There are two churches in the monastery complex. The older, dedicated to the Mother of God, according to some researchers was built in ⅹⅳ, and according to others in ⅹⅴⅰ-ⅹⅴⅰⅰ c. It is built of carved stone and brick. It has a fraction of a free cross with a three-sided apse and a dome with an ease of Tambur, placed on perpapsophes. On the west side there is a narthex with a dome. At the scene of the oldest (original) church, with the funds provided by the founder Hadzi Stefan Beglik of Kriva Palanka, in 1847. The newly built church belongs to the type of large three-nave basilicas. On the east side ends with three apes, and above the middle and over the side ships, 12 domes rises. There is an opinion that this grandiose object was the work of the famous builder Andreja Damjanov. The wall painting in the Church is the work of more painters, including the famous Dimitar Andonov Papradishki, as well as Miron Iliev, Avram Dichov and Gregory Petrovich from the village. Tresonce.
