Spitz, Ileve (? – Skopje, 1. H 1961) – Football coach, Hungarian of Jewish origin. He came to Skopje from FC “Hajduk” from Split for FC coach “Civic” (1938), who under his professional leadership became first (1938/39). He was coach and SK “Macedonia” from Skopje (1941-1944), a member of the elite division of Bulgaria. The occupying authorities tried to interned into a death camp (1942), but because of strong public resistance and the vigorous commitment from the club’s administration, he was taken off the train in Vranje and returned to Skopje. After the liberation, he trained FC “Partizan” from a white city and FC “Vardar” from Skopje. Died in Skopje beside the football field, directly after the FC “Vardar” match against OFK “Belgrade”. D.
