Socialist Union of Working People of Macedonia (1953-1991) – a mass socio-political organization emerged by the National Front Organization. Due to insisting on socialist arrangement in society, in 1953. His name was changed to the Socialist Union of the working people of Macedonia (SSRNM). It was a continued hand of SCM for achieving its propaganda targets, especially at the time of the one-party election. In jurisdiction, various other political and propaganda tasks were given. Therefore, the acts were descriptively called “organized front of the Socialist forces headed by SCM”. In 1991, as a result of the new multiparty system in the Republic of Macedonia, it was transformed into a new political party with the name Socialist Party of Macedonia.
