Smirnic, Hristo Dimitrov

Srier, Hristo Dimitrov (Kukush, Aegean part of Macedonia, 29. ⅸ 1898 – Sofia, 18. ⅵ 1923) – poet, storyteller, humorist, cartoonist, travel, translator, journalist. It originates from a Macedonian revolutionary family. His father Dimitar, confectioner by profession, was one of the first members of VMRO in Kukush. Crescent effectiveness of him had the older brother Thomas Izmirliev. He raised the magazine “Smeah and Silzi” (“Laughter and Tears”, 1917). In the creative and social engagements, it was given to Macedonia. Head of the famous “Macedonian Circle” in Sofia, featuring his brother Toma Imirliev, silver Janakiev and Krum Kulavkov. His poetry is distinguished by high aesthetic values ​​and is unwashing social and heroic events of his time (October Revolution) and has great influence in the development of Bulgarian literature.
