Shorov, Zoran

Shorov, Zoran (Stip, 17. ⅺ 1961) – Professor of physical culture, wrestler. He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education in Skopje (1990). He was a member of the Balkan Martial Club in Stip. The Youth Balkan Balkan Championship in Athens (Greece, 1977) won silver, and in Craova (Romania, 1978) Bronze medal, Mediterranean Games in Casablanca (Morocco, 1982) and Athens (Greece, 1991) silver medals. The European Championships performed 11 times, and the greatest success achieved in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria, 1987) – Silver and Stuttgart (Germany, 1991) – Bronze medal. He participated five times the world championships, and the best ranking is sixth for youth in Las Vegas (USA, 1977). He also performed in three Olympics, and the best result was sixth in Los Angeles (USA, 1984). He was elected as the best athlete of Macedonia (1987 and 1991). F. F.
