Izpevski, Dragan (Skopje, 1933 – Skopje, 10. ⅵ 2001) – conductor and composer. He graduated from the teaching-theoretical department at the Music Academy in Belgrade (1959). He works as a teacher in the secondary music school in Skopje (1960-1963), and then the head of the music production of RTV Skopje (1963- 1966). By the end of life, he is at the place professor at FMU in Skopje. Head is almost all significant choral ensembles in Macedonia (“Zikica Jovanovic-Spank”, “developer”, the women’s youth choir “May 25,” “Mirce Acev”, the choir of MRT). They achieved excellent successes, achieving a number of study recordings with works of Macedonian composers. As a composer, his creative preoccupations demand primarily in the domain of choral music, inspiring from the treasury of the Macedonian music folklore.
