Shoptrayanov, Bojan Todorov

Shoptrayanov, Bojan Todorov (Cacak, Serbia, 26 and 1937) – Academician, full professor (1981) at the Institute of Chemistry at the PMF in Skopje (retired since 2002). He graduated (1960) Chemistry of PMF in Skopje, Master’s Degree (1965) of Indian Universitis in the United States, while Phmo in Skopje. Correspondent (1994) and regular (1996) MANU member. He held teaching in a dozen objects, which or the first designed and performed or thoroughly reorganized. The main area of ​​scientific interest is structural chemistry (especially vibrational spectroscopy), and it is also interested in educational problems. He published more than 200 articles (about two thirds outside of Macedonia), and scientific manifestations presented more than 350 plenary and secting lectures and other announcements (near the waist outside Macedonia). The author / co-author is of 3 monographic publications with a scientific / professional character and 5 monographful editions of systemic character. Author / co-author is 4 university textbooks, aids and twenty textbooks / schools for secondary education. His more significant papers relate to the spectroscopic study of crystalohydrates and the spectroscopic and thermodynamic properties of five-member heterocyclic molecules. He also published a series of articles under the common title “Notes on the language of the chemistry”. He is the founder and first editor-in-chief of the magazine “Magazine of chemists and technologists of Macedonia”. The president is the editorial board of the magazine “Attachments” of the Mathematical Technical Science Department in MANU. He was the head of a number of international and domestic scientific research projects. He was verdict for teaching and science at the Chemistry Faculty, Pro-Rector for Teaching and Science at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “, vice president and president of the covenant of chemists and technologists of Macedonia, chairman of the Commission for Spectroscopy in the Union of the Chemical Societies of Yugoslavia and President of the Union. From the CHICE ABSTRAZTS, the Service received (1978) a “remarkable contribution to the promotion of chemical science and technology over more than 10 years of successful work”, and other recognition was allocated.
