Shirt, male. – Part of the male folk costume. It was made of cotton or hemp, but there were melsky, woven from cotton and hemp (from Cadeljka and Bubric). The male shirt was crossed by two rose (front and rear), Abligk and Bottom, Squids, Charter (collar) and jokes (sleeves). The root of some of them consists of an additional piece set on the bosom (lambarchic or event). In the elder type, sleeves were without cuff. Later, this type was retained only in the older male population, and boys and the erges began to wear shirts closed and harvested at the lower end of the shirt, with cuffs (bassamaki). The Basamites (cuffs), the cottage (collar) and the lambarski (bosom or event) were decorated. The embroidery was most often made with the technique of blood, with ornaments that were different from those represented in the female shirt. Color of the embroidery in the shirts intended for the younger male population was a female shirt Andonovski, Janko Lukovski, in strong colors – Red, Morova, Green, was represented, and the rock was black. Unlike them, the embroidery of the older population was made with a white thread, with certain accented elements of the embroidery made with shirts (Telel). The collar, which in the male shirts is called Colir, it is always corrected and there is rarely a key. They were most often buried (bind) with succumb to the ends of the collar. Among them, a special type is the Zotovo Darial Shirt, which made every girl with special attention. The custom required every girl on the day of the engagement to donate his fiancé with a bar one shirt, and he was supposed to carry it on the day of the wedding. J. R.-P.
