Shijakovic (Siak), Tomo (Kosovo Field, 15. ⅲ 1930 – Skopje, 29. 1998) – Painter, among the first Macedonian artists who troubled painting as a discipline. A certain period studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. Independently exhibited in Skopje, Belgrade, Nis. He participated in the Biennial in Sao Paulo (1969) and the Biennial in Venice (1978). He dealt with caricature, illustration, stake Shijakovic, poster, photography. In his work, several stages differ: post-site, abstraction, variants of pop art and conceptual procedures that at the end of the sixties resulted in the first facilities in the Macedonian contemporary art: Mosundri and Namosandri. They united the painting, sculpture and design aspects. This model of artistic shaping spatially applied to the interior of the building of the City Committee in Skopje (1970) and at the Hotel “Drim” in Struga (1977). T.
