Second Kosovo-Metohetic Battalion “Boris Vukmirovic”. (Pl. Deati, Albania, 20. IX 1943 – p. Slivovo, Ohrid, 11. Xi 1943). It was formed by 140 NOD members from Kosovo and Metohija and Macedonia released from the tyrannical prison and by Porto Romano camp (in Durres) after the capitulation of Italy. After ten-day military exercises, they rushed to Debar (start of October). About 40 fighters of the Sharplanin NOPO joined them. He participated in the liberation of Kicevo (1 Xi) and in the fighting with the German-ballistic forces of PL. Bukuk, Kichevo (1-6. Xi).
