Second Gevgeli People’s Liberation Partisan Squad

Second Gevgelija People’s Liberation Partisan Squad (Gevgelija, 18. ⅴ 1944 – Gevgelija, 21. Xi 1944) – Partisan unit of new and POM. It was formed by the existing distribution group (mid-April 1944), New-Alexander ⅲ, coin, avers / reverses Sovereign Macedonian National Second Arrived Fighters and Partisans from Gevgelija in other new and POM units, a total of 15 fighters. Concern commanders were Mitko Vower and Risto Dimitrovski (26. ⅶ – 12. IX 1944), then M. Spower, and political commissioners Aleko Keev and Eftim Dumcev (from 15. IX 1944). The unit acted in Gevgelija and Valandovo, mining the Miravci-Gevgelija railway line, struggling against German and Bulgarian forces and controllers in its area, taking part in the release of settlements and in the occupation of the border line.
