Poppetrov, silver (v. Turnben, Lerin, 18. 1869 – Sofia, 17. ⅺ 1950) – Teacher and school inspector, a member of the Macedonian Revolutionary Organization. He finished high school in Thessaloniki and Slavic philology of Sofia University. At the time of the Bulgarian occupation in the First World War, he was a district manager in Bitola and Kumanovo, after the war in Petrich. In 1922 From VMRO and the Macedonian National Committee, he was sent to the United States and Canada, where he organized emigrant societies and participated in the formation of the MPO. He was MP in the Bulgarian People’s Assembly.
