Popov, Branko (Vratnica, Tetovo, 1940) – A full professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje, a scientist. He graduated from the Technological Department of the Faculty of Technical Faculty in Skopje (1964). Master degree at the University of Urban, Illinois, USA, and PhD at the University of Zagreb (1973). The Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje is from 1965, and as a full-time professor is from 1982. He was Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje. The career continues in the United States, as a researcher and professor, the longest at the University of Colombia, South Carolina (since 1991). Areas: Physical chemistry, electrochemistry in water and melt, coatings and chemical sources of electricity. He is the author of books, scientific papers and numerous scientific research and application projects.
