Pepelish, Peter (Possud. Red) (Prilep, 1924 – Skopje, 19. ⅸ 1999) – Turner worker, a member of the workers’ and communist movement. A member of the CPY since 1941, and in 1942 he was Secretary of the MK of the CPY in Prilep. Participant in the NOB (from 1941), fighter of the Partisan Squad Petar Pejigovski “Gjorce Petrov”. He was a member of ⅲ district committee, and in 1943 Deputy Commissioner on ⅲ Operational Zone of Macedonia, political commissioner of Chief and on ⅹⅴ Macedonian But Brigade. As a military head, he participated with ⅹⅴ Macedonian Corps on the Srem Front. After the liberation, responsible functions in the JNA: Commander of the Military Area, Secretary of People’s Defense in the Executive Council of the Republic of Macedonia, Chief of Territorial Defense, General Major of the JNA.
