Pedagogical Institute of Macedonia – Professional and pedagogical institution, established by a decision of the Executive Council of NRM (11. 1955) as the Institute for Promotion and Study of the Schedule, for performing an educational service under the leadership and supervision of the Council for the Education of the NRM. In 1960 The first law was passed regulating relations and activity, known as the Law on the Educational Pedagogical Service in the People’s Republic of Macedonia. Significant changes The educational and pedagogical service is experiencing the adoption of the Law on Organizing Activity for the promotion of education and upbringing, when the previous emerges for schooling (republic, municipal and regional) from the bodies of the Directorate are transformed into the institutions for the promotion of education and upgrading in pre-school, In primary and secondary education and upbringing. The Law on Bodies of the Directorate (28. ⅸ 1990), the Pedagogical Service passes within the Ministry of Education and Physical Education, so the Pedagogical Institute of Macedonia is formed as the only institution of the previous institutions.
