Parmenion (Parmenion) (400-330 BCE) – One of the most prominent leaders and advisers of Philip ⅱ and Aleksandar ⅲ Macedonian. He was entrusted with the most responsible tasks in the country. He managed the Macedonian predecessor of the Asian expedition of Philip ⅱ (336 BCE). Accompanied Alexander ⅲ as the second in the rank in the command of the battles in Grabern (334 BCE), ISOS (333 BCE) and Gavgazel (331 BCE), leading the left wing . Later he received a task to shelter the Persian royal treasure in the fortress in EGBA (in Media). While he performed the task, according to Alexander’s order, he was killed on suspicion that he participated in the conspiracy against him led by his son Philoth, who was also executed.
