Osmanli, Dimitrie (Bitola, 29th 1927 – Skopje, 13. ⅲ 2006) – Film, theater and television director, screenwriter and pedagogue. The first contacts with the film and cinematography accomplishes Milton Manaki, the Balkan film pioneer. Film and theater directing ends at the Academy of Theater Art in Belgrade (1953), and postgraduate studies (1962) at the Institute for High Cinematographic Studies in Paris. For many years he works as a theater, television and film director. He was Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, where he taught acting. In addition to the four feature films, there are also two dozen documentary, as well as more than twenty television performances. He is director of the first comedy in the Macedonian cinematography “peaceful summer” (1961). In the field of theatrical arts, his contribution is also significant, he directed through thirty-five theater performances throughout the theater in Macedonia.
