Starogradan folk songs – songs occurred in a city environment and which pulls city life. They are singing for cobbled streets, craft stores, for various crafts, for love among young craftsmen and beautiful girls, etc. In the process of creating a significant share, there was a dance, “Towel School K’de was improving the popular poetry,” as he wrote K. Miladinov. In our national work, the Ohrid, the Veles, Stip and Bitola Old Towns have been in particular significant place. They often feel literary influence, the impact of citizen poetry of neighboring peoples, but also the influence of the oriental folklore.
