Nimetz, Matthew (Matthetou case) (New York, USA, 17. ⅸ 1939) – an American diplomat. Special MP of US President Bill Clinton for the Balkans (1994-1995); Involved in the negotiations between GRece and R Macedonia (March 1994 – September 1995); At the request of Cyrus Vance and in accordance with the WG and the Republic of Macedonia, he is appointed by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan for Vense Deputy (chairman of the RM-RM talks) (14. 1997), or a personal envoy of the UN Secretary-General (29. ⅹⅰⅰ 1999).
