Novo Selo – settlement in Strumica. It is located in the final eastern part of the Strumica field, on the left side of the r. Strumica, at an altitude of about 235 m. The village passes the M-6, which connects it to Strumica to the west, and to the east with Petrich in Bulgaria. It is inhabited by Macedonians (2,756) and a small number of Serbs (11). The population deals with growing early garden crops. N. S. is the seat of the municipality, which covers an area of 23,783 ha, and there are 16 settlements with 11,567 h.
