Nastev, Bozhidar (Bitola, 9. And 1924 – Skopje, 23. ⅵ 1980) – UNIV. Professor, translator, scientist. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje (French and Literature). PhD in Zagreb. He was Dean of the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, president of the Federation of Literary Translers of Macedonia and President of the Union of Literary Translators of Yugoslavia. There are written scientific studies for a number of French Bozidar Nastev writers (V. Igo, Balzac, Floord, Sartre, etc.). His most important translations are: “Mrs Barrier” from Flaubert (1960), “Altona’s headquarters” by Sartre (1962), “Nonception” from Beckett (1970). “Villagers” by Balzac (1972), “sentimental upbringing” from Flaubert (1977), etc. He is the author of the books “Macedonia in the works of French writers” (1976) and “Aroman studies” (1982).
