Muhaziri in Macedonia

Muhaziri in Macedonia (ⅹⅰⅹ c.) – Muslims-Refugees (Turks, Albanians, Cherkays, Bosniaks, Tatars) who abandoned the areas lost by the Ottoman Empire on the Balkan Peninsula at the time of the Eastern Crisis (1875-1881), whose number was around 50,000 – 60,000 families. They arrived in Macedonia, inhabiting its territory, or just passing through it on the road to Asia Minor.
