Mirchev, Dimitar

Mircev, Dimitar (Sliven, Bulgaria, 31.ⅲ 1942) – Polytologist and UNIV. Professor. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade (1966). Master ‘s Degree at the Institute of Sociological-Legal Research in Skopje (1971). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana (1977). The Institute for Sociological-Legal Research in Skopje dealt with scientific and research work (1967 -1984). He was a political science professor and political sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje (1977-1983; 1990-1993; 1999-2001) and political science and foreign policy of the Republic of Macedonia (FON, 2005-); Visiting professor at universities in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo and New Delhi; Pro-rector of the University “St. Cyril and Methodius “in Skopje (1992-1993). Due to “liberal deviation” in 1974. He was punished with the last party reprimand before exclusion from the SCM. Upon his request, his sentence was taken down (1982). He was the founder of the young Democratic Party of Macedonia (1990); founder of the Macedonian co-VET of the European Movement of Macedonia (1993-); One of the renewar and member of the Liberal Party of Macedonia (2000-2002); Special MP of the President of the Republic of Macedonia in the process of international recognition of the Republic of Macedonia (1991-1993); Associate and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in RCL, accredited and Vatican (non-resident, 1993-1999); Advisor to the President of the Republic of Macedonia (Since 2009). He wrote more than 180 scientific and professional papers.
