Milcin, Elijah

Milcin, Elijah (Prilep, 1918 – Skopje, 11. 2002) – Drama and film actor and director, translator, publicist, one of the founders of the MNT, artistic head and director of the district MNT in Upper Juma (Blagoevgrad , Bulgaria). He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Sofia. In Belgrade, he was a listener of the Department for Theater Art of the Music Academy. As an actor stands out with a realistic interpretation of psychologically complex roles in the domestic and foreign repertoire. He successfully acted as a director, playwright and translator of dramatic texts. He was director of the MNT drama (1964-1969), as well as a professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. Roles: Jago (“Othello”); Guborner (“The Death of Gubberator”); Leone (“Gentlemen Glambaches”); Galiewello (“Galileo Galilei”); Jacques (“As you are caressing”); Createe (“in agony”); Father Naum (“Creek”); Plato Kacket, Julius Caesar in the eponymous works; Tephik-Bey (“Goce”) and others. Directions: “deep roots,” “Darkness”; “Antigone”; “Three sisters”; “Malers”; “Glass menageria”; “The devil’s student”; “At the bottom”; “Campelines” etc. Film-ski roles in the films: “Node”; “Miss Stone”; “Peaceful summer”; “Correct is Delphina”.
