Markov, Boris (v. Outza, Tetovo, 1923) – Slavist, UNIV. Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje by grammar and history of the Russian language. Long-time head of the Department of Slavics and Dean of Boris Markov Faculty of Philology (1983- 1985). In 1960 Defended the doctoral dissertation “productive namesponsums in the Macedonian language”. He is the author of about 200 scientific papers on the word and lexicon of the Macedonian and Russian language compared to other Slavic and Balkan languages, as well as the book “Editing the Adjectives in the Macedonian language” (1988).
