MAKOLOVA-Stefan, Georgi (village Belica, Broken 13. ⅲ 1916 – Sofia) – a prominent Macedonian revolutionary and national Dice from the Pirin part of Macedonia. He was a member of the BCP District Committee (1937), maintained the link between the UK and CC of GRP (1941-1942), a fighter in the Belic Partisan Chief “Jacim Cow” (from July 1942), political commissioner of the People’s P.O. “Jane Sandanski” (1943), an editor of the partisan newspaper “Working Flag”. Active for realization of the national rights of the Macedonians in Bulgaria within the framework of cultural autonomy 1944-1948 in the Pirin part of Macedonia. After the IB resolution (July 1948), he came into conflict with the new policy of the Bulgarian party and state leadership for denial of the Macedonian nation and was removed from political life in the Pirin region.
