Macedonian Medical Association (MMA) – Association of doctors from Macedonia. Founded in 1945 First President Bill Dr. B. Spirov, prof. After history of medicine of honey. f. in Skopje. The main bearer is the continued medical education in Macedonia. It promotes medical and related sciences, keeps the reputation of the medical profession and protects the interests of doctors. Membership is organized in 22 regional, specialist and subspecialist associations (58 specialist associations are members of appropriate international organizations, and some of them founders in Balkan and associations from Southeast Europe). He is a member of the World Medical Association NMA, EFMA / News, SEFMA (Forum of National Medical Associations of Southeast Europe) and more than 40 international specialist associations.
