Macedonian Committee (Kostur, Aegean part of Macedonia, 5. ⅲ 1943 – 1944) – established for organizing a collaborative armed movement in the Italian occupation zone to combat Greek partisan movement and the Macedonian NOD in the Aegean part of Macedonia. The creation agreed a three-member Bulgarian delegation (representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Officers of the Bulgarian Army). At the meeting (3943), a committee was established and a decision was made for creating armed troops, for which the Greek queens were notified. The first armed company of the Macedonian Committee was formed by Bulgarian supporters and associates of the Italian occupying authorities. At the end of March, the committee transferred to the Italian command in Kostur Memorandum (referred to the Government of Bulgaria) with requirements: to be recognized for the Allied Macedonia-Bulgarian organization, to declare autonomy of that part of Macedonia and supply and arms the organization . The first two requests were discarded.
