Kumanovo battle (Zebrak, Kumanovo, 23 – 24) – a decisive battle in the First Balkan War between the Serbian and Ottoman army. It was run into the area of the village. Young Nagorichane, Kumanovo. The losses of the Ottoman army amounted to 1,200 dead, about 3,000 wounded and 327 captured soldiers. On the Serbian side there were 687 killed and 3,280 wounded. After this battle, a Serbian army entered Skopje, and the Turkish retreated to Bitola. C. ST.
