Konak Hawzi-Pasha

Konak Havis-Pasha – s. Bardovci, near Skopje. It is built on the chifel of Havis-Pasha between 1830-1845. The complex consists of three parts with buildings and yards enclosed with stone walls, reinforced with eight defensive towers. In the middle yard there is the sebacus in which the pasha with the male part of the family was staying. On the eastern side was the haremar with a female courtyard in which there was a kitchen building and for the service. Among the two Lodaka is the treasury for storing the wealth and weapons of the pasha, connected to a wooden bridge. The ultimate part is for the economy, with a stonhouse and aide. The two roakes are symmetrical with ground floor and floor. The interior of the buildings was decorated with color decoration on the walls and ceilings in carvings. Litt.: B.
